About the Role

HireKraft is supporting a major enterprise within the automotive and technology space in selecting a Director of ERP & Automation. This leader will shape ERP strategy, guide SAP delivery, and help drive automation initiatives across the business.

This is a 100% on-site role based in either Metro Detroit, MI or Reston, VA, and requires regular travel to nearby operational and project locations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead ERP transformation efforts with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
• Drive program strategy, roadmap development, and cross-functional alignment.
• Oversee delivery teams, supporting architects, analysts, and technical leads.
• Introduce and scale automation capabilities to improve business processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to modernize workflows and support long-term digital initiatives.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of ERP experience, including SAP S/4HANA leadership.
• Strong background in SAP functional or technical domains.
• Experience guiding ERP teams or leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a dynamic environment that requires both on-site presence and travel.

Location & Travel

• On-site in Metro Detroit or Reston, VA (no remote option).
• Travel to other regional sites as needed to support project execution.
• Relocation assistance may be available for the right executive-level candidate.
